Tom Fitzpatrick a 101 ans. Il travaille comme navigateur radio sur un bombardier B-17 en Italie pendant la Seconde Guerre mondiale. Il pense être la dernière personne de son unité.
Un étudiant nommé Tyler Boland trouve Stanley Eisenberg. Stanley a également 101 ans. Il travaille avec l’équipe au sol dans la même unité. Ils vivent à seulement 15 minutes l’un de l’autre. Ils ne se sont pas rencontrés pendant 81 ans. Tyler les aide à se rencontrer. Ils parlent de leur période de guerre.
Tom et Stanley sont heureux. Ils disent qu’il est important que les jeunes sachent ce qui se passe pendant la guerre.
