Le nouveau stade de Manchester United – niveau 2

Manchester United va construire un nouveau stade de 100 000 places, ce qui en fera le plus grand du Royaume-Uni.
Le club affirme qu’il s’agira du plus grand stade du monde. Il aidera l’économie en rapportant 7,3 milliards de livres chaque année. Il fait également partie d’un plan d’amélioration du quartier d’Old Trafford. Le projet créera 92 000 emplois et 17 000 logements. Sir Jim Ratcliffe est l’un des propriétaires du club. Il a déclaré qu’Old Trafford a été un grand stade pendant 115 ans, mais qu’il est maintenant vieux. Le nouveau stade sera situé à côté, ce qui permettra de conserver l’histoire du club tout en le rendant moderne.
Le gouvernement veut améliorer le nord de l’Angleterre, et Manchester United pense que ce stade y contribuera. Ils espèrent qu’il sera célèbre, comme Wembley ou la Tour Eiffel.
