Unilever ne peut pas lancer sa nouvelle entreprise de crème glacée Magnum maintenant parce que le shutdown du gouvernement américain a stoppé des travaux importants. L’office américain des marchés, appelé SEC, ne peut pas vérifier les papiers de l’entreprise, Unilever doit donc attendre.

La société de crèmes glacées voulait commencer à vendre des actions à Amsterdam, New York et Londres en novembre. Mais le retard n’est pas un gros problème, et Unilever affirme qu’elle continuera plus tard cette année. La société détiendra toujours environ 20 % de l’entreprise.

Le shutdown nuit déjà à d’autres entreprises et à l’économie américaine. Mais les investisseurs d’Unilever disent qu’ils ne sont pas inquiets parce qu’ils croient que l’entreprise est forte et qu’elle se développera à l’avenir.
