Fluffy la tortue serpentine alligator – niveau 2

En Cumbria, des gens ont trouvé une tortue serpentine alligator qu’ils ont baptisée Fluffy.

Malgré son nom mignon, Fluffy a une apparence dure et une forte morsure. Denise Chamberlain, qui connaît ces tortues en Floride, a organisé son sauvetage. Ces tortues sont originaires des États-Unis. Elles peuvent briser des os avec leurs puissantes mâchoires. Au Royaume-Uni, il n’est pas illégal de les garder comme animaux de compagnie, mais elles sont difficiles à soigner et les gens cessent parfois de s’en occuper.

Chamberlain n’a pas trouvé d’aide, elle a donc attrapé Fluffy elle-même et l’a emmené chez un vétérinaire pour qu’il l’examine. Fluffy ira dans un endroit spécial pour les reptiles. Chamberlain pense que Fluffy était autrefois un animal de compagnie, et elle affirme qu’il est important de bien s’occuper des animaux exotiques.
