En Cumbria, des gens trouvent une tortue dans le Tarn d’Urswick. Ils lui donnent le nom de Fluffy.

Fluffy est une tortue inhabituelle. Elle a l’air mignonne. Mais elle a une forte morsure. Denise Chamberlain en connaît un rayon sur les tortues. Ces tortues vivent aux États-Unis. Elle aide à sauver Fluffy. Ces tortues peuvent briser des os avec leurs mâchoires. Elles ne sont pas illégales en tant qu’animaux de compagnie. Mais elles sont difficiles à soigner.

Denise attrape Fluffy. Elle l’emmène chez un médecin pour animaux. Fluffy ira dans un endroit spécial pour les animaux semblables. Peut-être que Fluffy a déjà été un animal de compagnie. Il est important de s’occuper correctement des animaux de compagnie.
