Le Groenland est une grande île. Il y a beaucoup de métaux spéciaux sous le sol. Les gens ont besoin de ces métaux pour les téléphones, les voitures et les fusées.
Aujourd’hui, la Chine possède la plupart de ces métaux, mais d’autres pays en veulent aussi. Une entreprise veut commencer à exploiter des mines au sud du Groenland. L’endroit est froid et éloigné. L’exploitation minière n’est pas facile. Certaines personnes sont heureuses parce que l’exploitation minière peut apporter des emplois. D’autres s’inquiètent parce que cela peut nuire à la nature.
Le Groenland peut devenir très important pour le monde.
