Warner Brothers Discovery et Paramount Global envisagent de fusionner, selon un rapport récent.

Les PDG David Zaslav et Bob Bakish se sont rencontrés à Manhattan pour discuter de l’éventuelle fusion des deux géants du divertissement. Cette fusion donnerait naissance à un grand conglomérat médiatique, qui regrouperait des actifs tels que les studios Warner Brothers et le service de streaming Paramount Plus.

Alors que les deux entreprises sont confrontées à des difficultés dans le monde changeant des médias, les fonctionnaires peuvent avoir un impact sur le résultat de la fusion.

Les chances de fusion ne sont pas très élevées. Certaines fusions dans l’industrie ont eu lieu récemment et ne se sont pas très bien passées.
