De nombreuses boîtes de nuit au Royaume-Uni ont fermé après la pandémie en raison de problèmes d’argent.
Les jeunes ne sortent plus autant parce que c’est cher. Ils aiment maintenant aller dans des bars ou d’autres endroits qui coûtent moins cher. Certaines personnes boivent moins d’alcool et n’ont donc plus besoin d’aller dans les boîtes de nuit. Certaines boîtes de nuit ont changé en proposant des activités amusantes comme des soirées quiz ou des espaces où les gens ne boivent pas d’alcool.
Certains petits clubs s’en sortent bien parce qu’ils s’efforcent d’être accueillants pour tout le monde, par exemple pour les personnes LGBTQ+ et les autres. Ces clubs s’efforcent de créer de bonnes expériences communautaires. Malgré les problèmes, les boîtes de nuit et les petits espaces restent importants pour les jeunes et les amateurs de musique.
