Le président Trump met un terme aux nouveaux projets éoliens américains. Il dit que les éoliennes ont mauvaise mine. Elles coûtent trop cher et sont mauvaises pour les animaux.
C’est la société danoise Orsted qui rencontre le plus de problèmes. Ses actions chutent de 17 %. L’entreprise perd 1,69 milliard de dollars dans des projets américains, dont Sunrise Wind. Sunrise Wind devrait être le plus grand parc éolien américain. Mais aujourd’hui, une partie des terres américaines d’Orsted ne sert à rien.
D’autres sociétés éoliennes, comme le portugais EDP Renovaveis, l’allemand RWE et le norvégien Equinor, perdent également de l’argent, mais pas autant.
