L’histoire d’Alex Batty – niveau 2

L’adolescent britannique Alex Batty se serait échappé de la garde de sa mère il y a six ans et aurait traversé les Pyrénées lorsqu’elle a annoncé son intention de déménager en Finlande.

Alex, aujourd’hui âgé de 17 ans, menait une vie nomade avec son grand-père et sa mère, et il a passé deux ans dans des communautés spirituelles à travers l’Espagne, le Maroc et la France. Son point de rupture s’est produit lorsque sa mère lui a annoncé qu’elle voulait déménager en Finlande. Avec seulement 100 euros et un skateboard, il a rencontré un chauffeur dans un endroit isolé en France. Alex a dit au chauffeur qu’il avait besoin d’un avenir.

Alex retrouvera sa tutrice légale, la grand-mère Susan. Les autorités ne savent pas où se trouve la mère d’Alex et elles enquêtent sur les détails de sa disparition.
