Le premier ministre thaïlandais a obtenu l’autorisation du roi de mettre fin au parlement et de faire place à des élections nationales dans 45 à 60 jours.
Le parlement s’est terminé avant que l’opposition ne puisse faire quoi que ce soit. La principale opposition a déclaré que le premier ministre n’avait pas respecté un accord antérieur.
Le compte à rebours des élections a commencé. Les gens pensaient que la première date possible était le 30 ou le 8. Le premier ministre a essayé de rester en poste moins de trois mois. Pendant cette période, le sud de la Thaïlande a connu des inondations qui ont tué plus de 60 personnes, et de nombreuses personnes ont déclaré que l’aide était trop lente.
Les combats frontaliers se poursuivent et d’autres pays observent la situation. Les prochaines semaines seront très importantes pour le pays.
