La capitale de l’Italie, Rome, aura une nouvelle ligne de métro. Cette ligne passera sous les lieux célèbres de Rome, par exemple le Colisée.
La ligne est difficile à construire. C’est l’un des projets les plus difficiles au monde. Elle coûtera 3 milliards d’euros. L’ingénieur est Andrea Sciotti. La grande station de Piazza Venezia sera prête en 2034. Il y aura un mur de 85 mètres. Les travaux sur la ligne sont lents. L’un des problèmes est l’argent. Mais il y a d’autres problèmes. Il y a beaucoup de vieilles ruines sous terre. Des experts doivent fouiller l’endroit. Sciotti dit que de nouvelles machines peuvent creuser sous les vieux bâtiments. Elles ne cassent pas les bâtiments.
Le métro C ira du centre ville au Vatican. Il améliorera les déplacements à Rome.
