Le Real Madrid a remporté sa 15e Ligue des champions en battant le Borussia Dortmund 2-0 à Wembley. Dortmund a bien joué en première mi-temps, mais le Real Madrid a été meilleur en seconde période. Vinicius Junior a marqué à la 83e minute, et Dani Carvajal a marqué neuf minutes auparavant. Le gardien madrilène Thibaut Courtois a réalisé de nombreux arrêts importants, et Niclas Fullkrug a failli marquer mais a touché le poteau. L’entraîneur de Dortmund a bien travaillé en première mi-temps, mais l’entraîneur de Madrid a fait de bons changements pour la deuxième mi-temps. Jude Bellingham a aidé Vinicius Junior à marquer le dernier but. Ce but a mis fin aux espoirs de victoire de Dortmund. Le Real Madrid a montré qu’il pouvait gagner des matches importants. Le premier ministre espagnol Pedro Sánchez a félicité l’équipe.
