La police a fait du mal à un groupe d’ordinateurs malveillants appelé LockBit. Il s’agit d’un groupe de ransomware. Ils volent des informations sur les ordinateurs. Ensuite, ils veulent de l’argent en échange de ces informations.
14 pays travaillent ensemble. Ils trouvent 34 lieux informatiques en Europe, en Australie et aux États-Unis. Deux personnes vont en prison en Pologne et en Ukraine. La police arrête également plus de 200 comptes de crypto-monnaies. LockBit a fait du mal à de nombreuses personnes. Ils attaquent des écoles, des bureaux gouvernementaux et de grandes entreprises. On dénombre plus de 1 700 attaques.
La police dit que c’est une grande victoire contre les pirates informatiques. Les experts disent que c’est le plus grand coup d’arrêt jamais donné aux pirates informatiques.
