Un célèbre joueur de football, Paul Pogba, a reçu une interdiction de jouer au football pendant quatre ans pour cause de dopage.
Un test antidopage a révélé un taux élevé de testostérone après un match. Le match s’est déroulé en août de l’année dernière, et le tribunal antidopage italien a interdit à Pogba de jouer au football jusqu’en août 2027. Pogba, qui est âgé de 30 ans, prévoit de faire appel. S’il n’obtient pas gain de cause, cette interdiction pourrait mettre fin à sa carrière. Pogba a joué à Manchester United et à la Juventus, et il a remporté la Coupe du monde avec la France. C’est un joueur de football talentueux, mais il a subi de nombreuses blessures et ses performances n’ont pas été bonnes tout le temps.
Pogba a dit qu’il avait pris la substance par accident, mais il pourrait être difficile de le prouver.
