Le château de Norwich ouvre à nouveau ses portes – niveau 1

Le château de Norwich a 900 ans. Des gens l’ont construit en 1121. Après une grande rénovation de 27,5 millions de livres sterling, il rouvre ses portes le 13 août 2025. Le château s’appelle désormais le Palais du Peuple.
Pour la première fois, les gens peuvent accéder aux cinq étages, du sous-sol au sommet. Un nouvel ascenseur permet aux fauteuils roulants et aux poussettes d’accéder au toit. À l’intérieur du château, il y a des pièces qui ressemblent aux chambres royales normandes. Les visiteurs peuvent voir des meubles, des lumières et des spectacles laser dans la grande salle. Il y a aussi une nouvelle galerie avec plus de 900 objets anciens du British Museum.
Il y a longtemps, Norwich était très riche grâce au commerce de la laine, et les gens l’appellent la deuxième ville d’Angleterre.
