Nouvelle espèce d’anaconda – niveau 2

Des chercheurs de la forêt tropicale équatorienne ont découvert un nouveau type de serpent – le plus grand au monde, un anaconda vert.

Cette espèce s’est séparée de serpents similaires il y a 10 millions d’années, mais elle a encore presque le même aspect aujourd’hui. Le biologiste néerlandais Freek Vonk a partagé une vidéo qui montre la taille de ces serpents. Ils peuvent mesurer jusqu’à six mètres de long et peser jusqu’à 200 kilogrammes.

Les scientifiques pensaient qu’il n’existait qu’un seul type d’anaconda vert, mais ils savent maintenant qu’il en existe un autre appelé ‘anaconda vert du nord‘. Cette découverte nous aide à comprendre comment les marées noires affectent le monde naturel et la santé humaine.
