Décès du président de la Namibie – niveau 3

Suite au décès du président Hage Geingob, Nangolo Mbumba a assumé le rôle de président intérimaire de la Namibie.

Mbumba a déclaré qu’il ne se présenterait pas aux prochaines élections, adhérant à son désir de servir en tant que directeur d’école. Cette décision ouvre la voie à la candidature de Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah, qui pourrait devenir la première femme présidente de la Namibie. L’humilité de Mbumba contraste avec la rétention de pouvoir typique des dirigeants africains. La Namibie a pour objectif d’être à la pointe des initiatives en matière d’énergie verte, comme en témoignent ses efforts dans le domaine de l’hydrogène et des minéraux pour l’énergie propre.
