Pyramide du Louvre – niveau 3

L’artiste français JR a caché la pyramide de verre des années 1980 qui constitue l’entrée du musée du Louvre.

Il l’a recouverte de photos en noir et blanc des bâtiments qui l’entourent, si bien que depuis un endroit précis de la cour du musée, on a l’impression que l’énorme pyramide de verre a disparu.

L’artiste français a transformé des bâtiments et des quartiers du monde entier avec ses œuvres, transformant les rues en collages géants. En 2009, par exemple, il a recouvert le bidonville de Kibera à Nairobi de portraits de ses habitantes.
