Des gens ont trouvé une tortue avec de multiples fractures sur sa carapace, rendant la guérison difficile, mais en travaillant avec un passionné de Lego, la tortue a reçu un fauteuil roulant sur mesure.

Le cadre en Lego repose sur des roues qui aident la tortue à décoller du sol, et de la résine époxy, du fil chirurgical et du mastic de plombier maintiennent le tout en place.

Le zoo du Maryland a aidé la tortue-boîte de l’Est sauvage blessée à se rétablir tout en conservant son rythme de marche habituel.
