Le chanteur populaire Justin Timberlake a été arrêté dans les Hamptons, à New York, pour conduite en état d’ébriété.

Timberlake, qui est en tournée mondiale, a deux concerts prévus à Chicago ce week-end et deux spectacles à New York la semaine prochaine. L’arrestation a eu lieu tôt mardi matin, juste après minuit. Il a été détenu et inculpé mais libéré sans caution.

Timberlake a déjà parlé de ses problèmes de consommation excessive d’alcool. Le tribunal de Sag Harbor a confirmé qu’il serait traduit en justice et a lu les accusations portées contre lui. La nouvelle s’est rapidement répandue dans les médias américains.

Les représentants de Timberlake et la police de Sag Harbor n’ont pas encore fait de déclarations officielles. Le bureau du procureur du comté de Suffolk a confirmé les accusations mais n’a pas fourni d’autres détails. De plus amples informations sont attendues une fois que Timberlake sera officiellement inculpé par le tribunal.
