Le Géant blanc est l’une des plus grandes attractions touristiques d’Argentine. Il s’agit d’une rivière de glace de 29 kilomètres de long. Il abrite plus de 200 glaciers, et c’est la plus grande extension de glace continentale au monde après l’Antarctique.
Il y a un glacier qui perd de la glace environ tous les quatre ans, et un grand nombre de personnes viennent observer le spectacle.
Récemment, environ 4 000 personnes ont assisté à la chute du toit d’un tunnel de glace. Ce n’était pas rien.
