Neura Robotics, dirigée par David Reger, est une entreprise allemande qui crée des robots de pointe. Leur robot humanoïde 4NE-1 peut effectuer des tâches à la maison et dans les usines.
David, qui a commencé comme travailleur social, s’est initié à la robotique avec l’aide d’experts. Il a trouvé du soutien en Chine et a ensuite levé 100 millions d’euros en Europe. L’usine de Neura se trouve à Stuttgart, où elle se concentre sur l’automatisation.
L’entreprise fabrique des robots de soudage bon marché et développe des capteurs pour identifier les humains. Neura emploie 260 personnes originaires de 35 pays et reçoit des milliers de demandes d’emploi chaque mois. D’ici 2030, ils prévoient de fabriquer 5 millions de robots et attendent 50 millions d’euros de chiffre d’affaires cette année. L’objectif de Neura est de faire de la robotique la première industrie d’Allemagne, plus importante encore que l’automobile.
