La police finlandaise a signalé une fusillade à l’école Viertola à Vantaa, près de la capitale Helsinki.
La fusillade s’est produite dans une école primaire comptant environ 800 élèves. L’incident s’est produit dans la matinée, peu après la reprise des cours après les vacances de Pâques. La police est intervenue rapidement, a arrêté le suspect et a confisqué l’arme à feu. La police a confirmé qu’il y avait eu un décès et a qualifié l’incident de tragique. Le premier ministre finlandais a exprimé sa consternation et sa sympathie à l’égard des victimes et de leurs familles.
À l’heure actuelle, la police pense qu’il n’y a pas d’autres suspects. Malheureusement, l’une des personnes blessées est décédée. Les deux autres sont dans un état critique. La situation évolue encore et des mises à jour suivront.
