Accord COP28 – niveau 1

Le sommet de la Cop28 se déroule aux Émirats arabes unis. Il dure deux semaines. Près de 200 pays parlent du changement climatique.

La COP28 se termine par un accord. Les pays doivent cesser d’utiliser les combustibles fossiles. C’est le seul moyen d’arrêter le changement climatique. L’accord stipule que toutes les nations doivent atteindre zéro émission d’ici 2050. Le président du sommet, Sultan Al Jaber, affirme qu’il s’agit d’une réponse importante et historique à l’accord de Paris. Les pays ne suivent pas l’accord de Paris.

Certaines personnes sont satisfaites de l’accord. Mais d’autres disent qu’il ne fait pas assez pour arrêter la pollution. Certains pays ont besoin de plus d’aide à cause des changements météorologiques. La prochaine réunion, la COP29, se tiendra à Bakou, en Azerbaïdjan, en novembre prochain.
