Cop City – niveau 1

Des ouvriers construisent un centre d’entraînement de la police à l’extérieur d’Atlanta, aux États-Unis. Les gens appellent ce centre “Cop City”.

Le projet coûte 90 millions de dollars. Les autorités affirment qu’il permettra à la population de se sentir mieux et plus en sécurité après le meurtre de George Floyd en 2020. Mais de nombreux problèmes se posent déjà.

Certaines personnes ne sont pas d’accord avec le projet. Les travailleurs et la population locale ont peur. De nombreuses manifestations ont lieu. Récemment, la police a arrêté plus de 30 personnes. Elles lancent des pierres et des briques sur les officiers. Lors d’une manifestation, la police a tué un homme de 26 ans. Cela rend les gens encore plus furieux.
