Amnistie pour les séparatistes catalans – niveau 1

Les socialistes espagnols et le parti séparatiste catalan Junts passent un accord. L’accord porte sur une amnistie.

Une amnistie est une grâce accordée aux personnes emprisonnées. Cette amnistie concerne les personnes impliquées dans la campagne d’indépendance de la Catalogne. Elle concerne les événements survenus de 2012 à aujourd’hui, y compris un vote en 2014 et un référendum en 2017. Le référendum est contraire à la loi. Neuf dirigeants vont en prison pour cela. Mais ils bénéficient d’une amnistie en 2021.

La loi ne donnera aucun nom de personne. Carles Puigdemont est le leader de Junts. Il se trouve en Belgique. Les autorités espagnoles se battent pour le ramener en Espagne. Il doit répondre à des accusations là-bas. La loi aidera environ 1 500 personnes.
