Spotify donne de l’argent aux artistes nigérians et sud-africains. En 2024, ils reçoivent 59 millions de dollars.
C’est beaucoup plus d’argent qu’auparavant. Beaucoup de gens aiment la musique africaine maintenant. Des stars comme Burna Boy du Nigeria et Tyla d’Afrique du Sud rendent leur musique célèbre. Les artistes nigérians gagnent près de 38 millions de dollars, et les artistes sud-africains 21 millions de dollars.
La majeure partie de cet argent provient de fans situés en dehors de l’Afrique. C’est une bonne chose pour leur musique. Davantage de musiciens africains gagnent maintenant de l’argent grâce à leur musique. Ils ont assez d’argent pour acheter les choses dont ils ont besoin.
