La police a arrêté un groupe d’hommes juifs hassidiques à New York après avoir découvert un tunnel caché sous une synagogue historique de Brooklyn.
Des étudiants extrémistes de la communauté Chabad-Lubavitch ont secrètement construit le tunnel qui relie des bâtiments vides à la synagogue. Une bagarre a éclaté entre la police et les partisans du tunnel. Le porte-parole de Chabad a indiqué que les extrémistes avaient endommagé la synagogue. La police ne sait pas encore pourquoi le groupe a construit le tunnel. La synagogue est maintenant fermée pour un examen de sécurité. Un tuyau anonyme a permis de découvrir le tunnel.
