Le FBI a désigné Thomas Matthew Crooks comme étant l’homme qui a tenté de tuer l’ancien président américain Donald Trump.
L’incident s’est produit lors d’un rassemblement en Pennsylvanie où Trump prenait la parole. Des coups de feu ont été tirés, et Trump a commencé à saigner de l’oreille droite, mais n’a pas été gravement blessé. Une personne est décédée et deux autres ont été grièvement blessées. Les services secrets ont tué Crooks, âgé de 20 ans. Le FBI considère l’incident comme une tentative d’assassinat. Le président Biden a qualifié l’attaque de malsaine et a déclaré qu’il n’y avait pas de place pour de telles choses en Amérique.
Le FBI et la police locale enquêtent sur le mobile de Crooks. Trump n’a pas changé ses plans et veut assister à la convention nationale républicaine lundi.
