Joseph Dituri est professeur d’université. Il bat un record. Il reste sous l’eau pendant 74 jours.

Dituri séjourne dans un pavillon en Floride, aux États-Unis. Le pavillon se trouve à 9 mètres sous l’eau. Il n’existe pas de technologie permettant d’abaisser la pression. Dituri veut voir ce qui se passe avec son corps. Il mange beaucoup de protéines. Il fait de l’exercice tous les jours. Il a des cours en ligne avec 2 500 étudiants. Ces étudiants étudient les sciences de la mer.

Dituri séjourne au lodge depuis le 1er mars. C’est déjà lui qui passe le plus de temps sous l’eau. Mais il veut y rester jusqu’au 9 juin.
