Amnistie pour les séparatistes catalans – niveau 3

Les socialistes espagnols ont conclu un accord avec le parti séparatiste catalan Junts, obtenant leur soutien au gouvernement en échange d’une amnistie controversée.
La loi proposée englobera les événements liés à la volonté d’indépendance de la Catalogne de 2012 à aujourd’hui, y compris le vote symbolique de 2014 et le référendum illégal sur l’indépendance de 2017. Ce dernier a conduit à l’emprisonnement de neuf dirigeants séparatistes, plus tard graciés en 2021. On s’attend à ce que l’amnistie soit large, évitant les noms de bénéficiaires spécifiques pour adhérer à la constitution espagnole. Notamment, Carles Puigdemont, fondateur de Junts et figure clé des événements de 2017, devrait en bénéficier.
La loi vise à répondre aux actions en justice intentées contre des centaines de personnes, avec une estimation de 1 500 individus liés à la cause séparatiste catalane potentiellement couverts.
