Les glaciers en Argentine – niveau 3

Le parc national des Glaciers d’Argentine abrite plus de 200 glaciers et constitue, selon le site Internet du parc, la plus grande extension de glace continentale au monde après l’Antarctique.
En mars 2016, pas moins de 4 500 personnes ont assisté à l’effondrement d’un tunnel de glace sur la rivière de glace de 29 kilomètres connue sous le nom de Géant blanc. La rivière est la plus grande attraction touristique du pays et un grand nombre de locaux et de visiteurs viennent pour apercevoir le spectacle lorsque le glacier perd de la glace environ tous les quatre ans.
