Un marin essayait d’amarrer son bateau lorsqu’il a accidentellement appuyé sur la manette des gaz. Le bateau s’est mis en mouvement et a projeté l’homme par-dessus bord.
Le hors-bord de six mètres de long s’est mis à tourner en rond. Heureusement, quelqu’un a repéré le bateau et l’a fait savoir. L’équipage de l’embarcation de sauvetage a monté une ligne à bord du bateau et a réussi à réduire la vitesse.
Le propriétaire du bateau a regagné la rive sain et sauf, mais il a dû se rendre à l’hôpital.
