Des scientifiques ont découvert un site très ancien près du célèbre Stonehenge. Ce site a 5 000 ans. Il est 500 ans plus vieux que Stonehenge.

Aujourd’hui, il ne reste plus que deux grands trous dans le sol. Il y a très longtemps, ces trous contenaient de grands morceaux de bois. Le bois n’est plus là, mais les alignements sont orientés vers le soleil aux jours les plus longs et les plus courts de l’année. Les scientifiques y ont aussi trouvé des objets anciens, comme des pots, des outils en pierre et des os d’animaux.

Ces objets montrent que les premiers habitants se rassemblaient à cet endroit. Ça nous aide à imaginer la vie des familles et des enfants d’autrefois.
