Environ 100 000 personnes se sont réunies dans le centre de Londres pour exprimer leur soutien à la Palestine et ils voulaient que cessent les bombardements incessants d’Israël sur Gaza.
La manifestation a eu lieu après une récente attaque surprise du Hamas et la réponse d’Israël. Les manifestants tenaient des pancartes avec des messages tels que “Liberté pour la Palestine” et “Arrêtez de bombarder Gaza”. Les manifestants ont marché dans le centre de Londres, mais la plupart de la foule a quitté les lieux trois heures plus tard. La police a arrêté dix personnes pendant la manifestation.
La manifestation s’est déroulée au moment où les autorités ont ouvert le poste frontière de Rafah, ce qui a permis à l’aide humanitaire d’entrer dans la bande de Gaza. Mais de nombreuses personnes souffrent encore et ont besoin de plus d’aide.
