L’Italie importe du gaz de Russie. Avant l’invasion de l’Ukraine, l’Italie importait 40 % de son gaz de Russie. Aujourd’hui, elle en importe moins de 10 %.

Le pays se prépare déjà pour l’hiver prochain. L’Italie veut être indépendante du gaz russe. Les navires de regazéification sont une solution. Le premier navire est arrivé dans la ville de Piombino la semaine dernière. Le navire transporte et stocke du gaz liquéfié. Il transforme le gaz liquéfié en gaz. Cela se passe à bord.

Certaines personnes ne sont pas satisfaites du navire. Ils disent qu’il aura un impact négatif sur la vie locale, la pêche et le tourisme.
