Les scientifiques testent des rats et d’autres petits animaux. Certains animaux ont du mercure dans leur corps. Le mercure est un métal très dangereux. Il provient de l’exploitation minière. Il blesse les animaux et les gens. La jungle où ils travaillent contient beaucoup de plantes et d’animaux. Mais certains animaux tombent malades. Les scientifiques pensent que certains animaux pourraient avoir moins de bébés à l’avenir.
