La FIFA a suspendu Luis Rubiales, le responsable du football espagnol, pour trois mois. La raison est un baiser malvenu sur une joueuse après que l’équipe féminine d’Espagne a remporté la Coupe du monde.
La Fédération royale espagnole de football (RFEF) soutient Rubiales. Ses avocats veulent prouver son innocence. L’entraîneur Jorge Vilda a regretté les actes de Rubiales. Mais le Conseil national des sports espagnol s’est rallié à la décision de la FIFA.
Rubiales a déclaré que le baiser était réciproque. Mais de nombreuses personnes le critiquent et veulent qu’il démissionne.
L’équipe féminine d’Espagne a refusé de jouer sous les ordres de Rubiales.
