L’animation est une représentation visuelle étonnante de l’espace aérien bondé au-dessus de l’Europe au cœur de l’été, le 21 juin 2013.
En moyenne, 30 000 vols traversent l’espace aérien européen chaque jour du mois de juillet. Ces vols couvrent une distance totale de 46 millions de kilomètres.
La vidéo montre les aéroports anglais de Londres Heathrow et Londres Gatwick, qui est l’aéroport le plus fréquenté au monde avec une seule piste. Le 21 juin, 5 675 avions ont décollé ou atterri dans les aéroports britanniques, dont 2 295 à Gatwick et Heathrow.
