Un robot sous-marin – niveau 1

Les scientifiques de Tethys Robotics, une entreprise suisse de l’ETH Zurich, fabriquent un robot spécial.

Ce robot travaille sous l’eau. Il va dans des endroits qui sont trop dangereux pour que les gens y aillent. Le robot travaille seul. Il peut s’occuper d’endroits difficiles comme les rivières avec de l’eau sale. Il aide lorsque les moyens normaux de trouver et de sauver des choses ne fonctionnent pas.

Le robot a une batterie qui dure quatre heures. Il pèse 30 kg lorsqu’il est dans l’eau. Il peut aller à une vitesse de 2 mètres par seconde. Il peut également communiquer par l’intermédiaire d’un câble en fibre optique. Le câble mesure jusqu’à 10 mètres de long.
