Un tribunal néerlandais a ordonné à un homme de cesser de donner son sperme. Les juges ont déclaré que Jonathan Meijer était le père d’environ 500 à 600 enfants dans le monde.

L’homme ne doit plus faire de dons à des cliniques. S’il le fait, il risque une amende pouvant aller jusqu’à 110 000 dollars pour chaque infraction. Le tribunal a également déclaré que les cliniques à l’étranger devaient détruire tout le sperme stocké, à l’exception de celui qui était réservé aux parents ayant déjà eu des enfants de Meijer.

Les parents néerlandais qui ont fait appel à Meijer en tant que donneur ont déclaré que ses dons ultérieurs pourraient provoquer des incestes accidentels et des mariages consanguins.
