Andrej Babiš, riche homme d’affaires et ancien dirigeant de la République tchèque, a remporté les élections nationales avec son parti ANO. Son groupe a obtenu environ 34,6 % des voix, soit plus que l’équipe de l’actuel premier ministre Petr Fiala.
Babiš a maintenant besoin d’un autre parti pour l’aider à former un gouvernement. Il pourrait travailler avec des partis plus petits qui sont d’accord avec lui. Babiš s’oppose souvent à l’Union européenne et ne soutient pas l’idée de donner des armes à l’Ukraine. Il veut dépenser moins d’argent pour la défense et se concentrer davantage sur son propre pays.
Pendant sa campagne, il a promis une énergie moins chère et de meilleures pensions pour les habitants de la Tchéquie. De nombreux électeurs ont apprécié son idée de faire passer les citoyens tchèques en premier.
