Un nouveau rapport montre combien de jeunes en Europe terminent leurs études universitaires.
L’Irlande est numéro un : deux jeunes adultes sur trois âgés de 25 à 34 ans ont un diplôme. Le Luxembourg en compte 65 % et la Lituanie 58 %. La Tchécoslovaquie est au bas de l’échelle avec 33 %. La Hongrie et l’Italie sont les plus faibles avec 32 %.
La famille fait une grande différence. Au Danemark, 70 % des jeunes dont les parents sont universitaires ont un diplôme. Seuls 49 % des jeunes n’ayant pas de tels parents en ont un. En Pologne, l’écart est plus important : 79 % contre 11 %.
Étudier davantage aide les gens dans la vie. Avec une éducation supérieure, les gens peuvent obtenir de meilleurs emplois et plus d’argent, et rester en meilleure santé.
