Petunia est un chien. Elle gagne le ‘concours du chien le plus laid du monde‘. Petunia et son propriétaire reçoivent de l’argent et un prix.
Le concours a lieu en Californie. Le concours a commencé il y a cinquante ans, et il a lieu chaque année. Il montre que l’apparence d’un chien n’a pas d’importance. De nombreux chiens participant au concours vivent dans des refuges. Les refuges sont des endroits où les chiens n’ont pas de foyer. Les gens aident ces chiens à trouver un nouveau foyer. Le concours aide les gens à savoir qu’il est bon d’aider les chiens. Le concours est amusant. Il montre que les chiens sont tous spéciaux à leur manière.
La victoire de Petunia nous dit qu’il n’y a pas de mal à avoir l’air différent. Le concours apprend aux gens à être gentils avec tous les chiens.
