Green Day a obtenu une étoile sur le Hollywood Walk of Fame le 1er mai 2025. L’événement s’est déroulé au 6212 Hollywood Boulevard. De nombreux fans sont venus, et des personnes célèbres comme Serena Williams et Ryan Reynolds se sont jointes à eux.
Le groupe a remercié ses fans et a partagé des souvenirs heureux. Ils ont travaillé avec 7-Eleven et ont préparé une boisson Slurpee pour célébrer leur ancien album Kerplunk. Ils ont parlé de nouvelles chansons et de nouveaux concerts. Le groupe a déclaré qu’il aimait ses fans et qu’il était enthousiaste pour l’avenir.
Green Day a débuté en 1986 et est devenu très populaire. En 1994, leur album Dookie les a rendus célèbres dans le monde entier. Ils ont également réalisé l’album American Idiot en 2004, qui est ensuite devenu un spectacle à Broadway. En 2024, leur album Saviors a connu un grand succès et ils ont fait une grande tournée mondiale.
