Fatou est une gorille qui vit dans un zoo à Berlin. Elle a 68 ans, ce qui est très vieux pour un gorille. La plupart des gorilles ne vivent que jusqu’à 30 ou 40 ans.
Fatou vit au zoo depuis 66 ans. Elle est arrivée alors qu’elle n’avait que 2 ans. Elle vient d’Afrique. Son espèce s’appelle le gorille des plaines de l’Ouest. Fatou ne peut plus très bien marcher maintenant. Ses jambes et ses bras lui font mal. Elle marche un peu courbée. Elle n’a pas de dents, alors elle mange des aliments mous. Elle reçoit des légumes cuits et quelques fruits en guise de friandise.
Les gens du zoo l’aident et veillent à ce qu’elle se sente bien. Joyeux anniversaire, Fatou !
