En 2019, un incendie a détruit l’un des plus grands monuments français, la cathédrale Notre-Dame. Le président Emmanuel Macron a déclaré que la restauration de Notre-Dame apportera de l’espoir au monde.
Macron a visité le bâtiment en compagnie de sa femme, de l’archevêque de Paris et de l’architecte principal, Philippe Villeneuve. Il a fallu cinq ans pour reconstruire la cathédrale, et Macron a salué le travail acharné de tous ceux qui ont participé aux travaux.
La restauration a utilisé des moyens anciens et nouveaux pour réparer le célèbre bâtiment tout en conservant son histoire. Notre Dame rouvrira bientôt ses portes et montrera les efforts incroyables de tous ceux qui y ont travaillé.
