La Chine construit un laboratoire appelé JUNO. Les scientifiques y étudieront de petites choses appelées neutrinos.
Les neutrinos existent dans les réactions nucléaires. Ils peuvent traverser beaucoup de choses, même notre corps, et ils ne changent pas. Les scientifiques en apprendront davantage sur le fonctionnement des neutrinos. Ils peuvent nous aider à comprendre l’univers.
Le laboratoire se trouve dans les profondeurs de la Chine. Il coûte 300 millions de dollars. Il sera mis en service en 2025. Il examinera les neutrinos provenant des centrales nucléaires et du soleil. Ces informations nous aideront à comprendre comment la surface de la Terre bouge. JUNO sera prêt avant un projet similaire aux États-Unis appelé DUNE. DUNE a des problèmes d’argent. Il sera prêt vers 2030.
