Un incident choquant s’est produit lorsqu’un avion à destination du Japon a perdu un pneu au décollage. United Airlines a détourné le vol vers l’aéroport international de Los Angeles.
Le pneu qui est tombé a endommagé des voitures sur le parking de l’aéroport de San Francisco. Heureusement, le Boeing 777-200 a atterri en toute sécurité à l’aéroport de Los Angeles, et les passagers et l’équipage n’ont pas été blessés. United Airlines a organisé un autre avion pour les passagers.
